I have heard how hard it is to register for Alcatraz. Some people have described frantically trying to get their entry in during the 1 hour it is open. SOmeone else told me it is all a lottery. A) Does anyone know when the applications become available and B) How does it work/what are the chances of getting in?
Only two ways–lottery or qualify. Go to www.tricalifornia.com and it will lay it all out right there. Probably won’t take lottery applications until the fall. Qualifiers are ongoing througout the year.
