How do you know when dried fruit has gone bad?

I have a bag of dried apricots that are about 6 months old.

Are they hanging with a rougher crowd lately?

how dried are they? are they wet dry soft or dry dry hard lol? If its soft then is they taste acidy then there bad or going bad, If there dry hard then they will be good for years.

They’re probably still good. If there’s no mold, you’re fine. Dried fruit lasts forever.

dried apricots give me the furious shits anyway… how would ‘bad’ ones be any different?

I have eaten dried fruit after a couple of years. Unless you see mold growing on it, eat it.

If you see mold growing on it, rinse the mold off and then eat it.

I think I will offer one to my wife first. Afterall, ladies first right?

IMO- Once fruit has gone dry, it’s already bad. YMMV
