Besides these beautiful refinements/additions, Bianchi has not made many changes to their line.
So I was rummaging through the trash behind the Bianchi headquarters the other day and look what I found:

Agenda
Bianchi Engineering Team Meeting
1: New puke/diarrhea colors for 2006
2: Eye exams have once again been cut for budgetary reasons. We apologize to our entire color blind staff.

You know, I saw this the other day on another Euro Bike string. I hate to sound negative, but I really wonder if there is any aerodynamic foundation for the design of this frame. I think carbon presents unique opportunities for frame designers/ builders to pursue a variety of shapes not previously offered in metals. Don’t get me wrong…it’s a sexy bike. I just wonder how it really stacks up against other proven, carbon designs.

Not to point out the obvious, but that’s exactly the idea with the san jose, volpe, castro valley, pista, and even boardwalk
The cross concept looks much better in person and is true to Italian decor.
i’m sure someone will get around to testing it.
Here are my observations:
The TT frame is pretty cool - aero? Who knows. What I do know is that bike has more style in the head tube than the entire Cervelo line. Reminds me of the DeRosa Tango.
The San Jose might be the ultimate commuter.
The Pista, which you don’t see here but has an updated paint scheme, is still the gold standard for asphault fixies. Straight up cool.
I love Bianchi bikes, would own one if their top tubes weren’t so darn long.
Another Taiwanese carbon creation?
Tough to find love here, Cervelo or Trek, and don’t change the color scheme. I feel the Celeste love, and as a Concept owner (nice team bike deal), I prefer the Liquigas Scheme over the Alessio colors–how did that make it to the cross frame anyway. Even if an aero disaster, I’d sacrifice 4 seconds over 25mph for those curves. I would guess with that fork, it’s pretty hard to mess up aerodynamics and having Magnus flog it should take put to rest any questions of it’s sturdyness.
Course I’m a fan and believer.
That TT frame… Is that a mono-blade/mono-stay design? LOL!
wrong colors, except for the third one
.
I love the cross bike!!
The cross bike rocks - waiting for Kittycat to comment though!!!
man, i LOVE that cross bike. that is one HOT bike!!!
i wish i never opened this thread…lol.
anyone got more info on these yet? They are not on the Bianchi site yet as far as I can tell.
i looked for a minute, but didn’t find out anything…
now i’m researching hand spun yarns.
Celeste Rules! Bianchi needs to get more Celeste on the TT frame. I’ve looked for more info on this frame, but haven’t found anything on the 2006 models. Anyone know where to find more info on this frame?
If that top tube is as short as it looks, this may be the perfect bike for me. I have long legs and short torso, so I had a hell of a time finding my first bike where I didn’t feel like I was extremely stretched out.
Any idea on price on that bad boy?
Oh, and it is a very sexy design

Love the crono.
For thoese of you trackies, the 06 Pista Concept comes standard with sew-ups. I think that’s pretty cool. I still love my 05 though.
If they make the crono in celeste that would be bitchin.
The 06 Crono 2 is up on the Bianchi web site. Looks like this frame does have a short top tube (medium frame has a 54.5 CM top tube) so it should be perfect for the long leg, short torso type. 74 degree Seat tube angle is the typical TT set up, but like the P2k/P3K why wouldn’t the right seat post get you dialed in for triathlons? I agree, more Celeste on this bike along with it decked out in campagnolo would be sweet!
Tom D., will you be selling this frame?
Where can I get info on the 2006 Bianchi line?
