Does anyone elses spouse or signifcant other hate our sport? Do thier eyes roll back and they huff when you mention anything about the sport? Does your Mr. or Mrs. Wonderful puke when the Tour is on OLN?
Well I think deep down they are happy for us. Today we went on a family bike ride. All four of us where cruising the park yaking about how beautiful it was today, bright sunshine and 63 degrees, when my wife pipes up.
“It’s nice to see you riding again. I missed how happy it makes you.” She said in a very supportive and heart melting voice. Before I could respond she put here game face back on and made a snide comment about Team Secondhand Racing and how I wore my cycling shoes on a easy role with the kids. Left the bike shorts at home.
There is hope people. They really do like us.
