Yea, and God said to Abraham, “You shall add more spaces.” And Abraham said, “Dude, seriously? This is like the fricken’ Tower of Babel over here!”
I give that a 10 on responses. You one funny guy G.I.!
Is that bike levitating on a kickstand?

Don’t laugh - it’s not uncommon to see more than a few bikes set up that way at the big IM races. After the gun goes off for the swim start I like to head back to transition and when all is quiet just wander through the transition area and look at the bikes. It’s in interesting and entertaining all at the same time.
…same here…I go to bike check in at the very end of the window of time so I can cruise the rackes. For sure some wild stuff out there.

The weight of the spacers has lifted the rear wheel off the ground :-).
Right, I once saw a couple of very nice bikes on top of an SUV with personalized triathlon license plates and the bikes had reflectors in the spokes. I still can’t figure that one out.
check out the tandem on this thread

.
I also found it odd that the bike had an aluminum fork but a carbon seat post.
Looks like a late-70s/early 80s hot rod…all jacked up in back with a serious hood spoiler sticking up in front. Oh…and bad metallic orange-ish paint job too. All that is missing is the 6x9s mounted under the saddle with a tape deck pumping out Van Halen at 120 db.
Nana wanted to take up cycling.
- That negative drop from the saddle to the handle bars
- That saddle…must weigh as much as the bike
- Bick bag/handbag
- That levitating bike stand
- At least no reflectors on the wheels!
- WTF with the extra brake lever(s)?
- 1970’s “Autumn Harvest” colour like my mums old refrigerator!
Just plain scary that someone would build it up like that, even just to get rid of it on ebay

Well, they are common on cyclo-cross bikes, I have a pair on one of my road bikes, its great when riding around the neighborhood with the kids.
…but it ain’t a cyclo-cross bike is it? It’s Nana’s bike for riding to the Bingo! LOL. Too bad she can’t remember where she left the basket or rear-view mirrors!
