Holy Cow! Just got my first HID light - did a quick spin last night. Already got “flashed” by a car as I need to adjust the angle. Geez - how do those off-road mountain bike guys put this on their helmet! (mine is on the bike) Seriously, if you looked over at a friend with one of these on your helmet, it would look like a scene from Mars Attacks
This thing is seriously bright. Great 2.5 hour quick charger too. But why on earth these cost so much is beyond me.
Got it “special” for $300 - regular like $450 or something ridiculous. I actually had ordered another light (a Cygolight for about $200 after a lot of research), but they were conveniently “out of it” as they don’t make it anymore. The online retailer called and highly recommended this one. I felt a little like a bait and switch, but the light is great.
