Hoka Bondi’s split! Need new shoes ASAP

Hello all,
I blew the side wall out of my Bondi 6 today. Only have about 600 km on them. Looking for a new pair. I would go back to Bondi’s as I loved them but wouldn’t be afraid to try the Clifton. I need the cushioning. Any suggestions? Money is a bit tight at the moment so any clearance websites? Codes for discounts? Thanks in advance. Also live in Canada so shipping from the USA might not be an option during these times.

I have 2 bondi6s and both have split on the sidewall.

They otherwise run fine, even on aggressive trails…just go with it.

I would call Hoka and tell them…I had a problem with my Salomon trail shoes and they sent me a new pair for free after miles/pictures and discussion. Perhaps Hoka will have the same great customer service??

I switch between Clifton/Bondi myself as the Clifton is nice and light but not as cushion but works better because the toe box is bigger for me at longer runs.

My Bondi 6’s just split this weekend! Maybe 200k. I’ve never had that happen to a shoe.

The best price in Canada for a replacement seems to be Running Free, when they have a sale (which they always seem to, for this shoe). Plus, they seem like really nice folks.

600 Km is about 70% of life expectancy for these shoes in my experience.

Why ASAP though? Don’t you have several pairs of running shoes in the house? You should… Try the Clifton 6, sure. You can find a good deal on them right now on amazon or zappos, if your size is in stock, because 7 is coming out soon.

I was a long time Clifton user from 1 to 6. Try Rincons. I went back to Clifton and they felt like crap. Rincons feel really good.

If you like a shoe that lasts 130 miles. Sure, try the Rincon.

Thanks. I’ll give that a try. I only have about 500 km on them so should be lots of life left.
