Hines Ward

Hines has until Thursday to be ready. If he doesn’t play that’s going to be a huge advantage for the Cards. I’m starting to feel the love for an upset, anyone else?

Agree, Ward is the heart and soul of that offense. Since I am disgruntled Titans fan, I am rooting for the Cardinals! They are peaking just at the right time.

Hines Ward will eat them alive.

Hines wasn’t even in the top 10 this season for yards or td’s. Now his ability to light someone up blocking is where he could cause trouble. That dude hits like a defensive player.

He’s never been a huge #'s guy as compared to some of the other ‘all star’ receivers, but he plays every down and he hits as hard as anyone when it comes to blocking. And since he’s not the speediest guy he doesn’t need blazing speed to be effective.

As Dan T said, he will crush them.

The game will be decided by how many turnovers Pitt’s D can cause.

Wrd’s main contribution seems to be on 3rd and 7-12 types plays, because he goes over the middle and/or goes to empty space and “sits”. Pitt has been using their TE more and more in these situations.

If Warner gets rid of the ball quickly and if they can get Larry in 1-on-1 situations, it could be quite a game.

I was surprised to see how well Warner played against the Eagle’s rush which was quite good against the Steelers if you remember…

**“Eagles defense racked up eight sacks, 12 knockdowns and 14 hurries in their Sept. game”

That says as much about the poor quality of the Steelers O-line as it does about the high quality of the Cardinals D-line. The Steelers D-line should present a much bigger challenge to the Cardinals than the Eagles did…should be interesting.

Absolutely! I’m always up for an upset, as long as it’s not my team. And I don’t have a dog in this fight.
