I just completed my 1st HIM last Sunday. I have taken the Monday, Tuesday, and today off. I was wondering what the typical recovery time is for most people. My left calf is still a little sore but the rest of my body is fine. Do I take it easy the rest of the week? 1 hr or less bike rides, swim, 3-4 miles runs?
Also, I have thoughts of doing another HIM 7/10. Obviously, I won’t find a 5 week HIM training plan follow a HIM. So how do I go about training for this. And if I don’t do this HIM, I plan on doing one 9/11. How do I go about training for this? Do I just maintain my peak week training? Or do I just follow the same plan I did for first and build to a peak?
