That sprint race that just took place in Florida announced they are going to Columbus, maybe HFP is producing that one.

It was a 5150 distance in 2012, but if I remember right it wasn’t last year.
Further confirmation that the announcement is at least Giant Eagle related is that they changed the website to say only that there’s an exciting announcement coming up about that race weekend: http://www.multisportfestival.com/
My guess is they add a half Iron. whether its branded with someone, no idea.

Yeah I finally got to introduce myself to Jordan that morning. So you’re probably right. We drove in for the weekend (I used to live in CBus, love that town), so I might just have been in too much of a rush to notice.

I was also kind of considering it again this year as an avenue to HyVee, particularly as a last chance sort of thing in case I flat at Columbia or something, but you’re right that it’s not on the 5150 website anymore, which appears to have gotten a two and a half year overdue update recently
