Hey, I was going to post that a bit earlier today. I think the wheel with no spokes would make a real boss front wheel.
Interesting, quite a few were ‘funny’ bikes. (smaller front wheel)
A wheel/fork assembly like that was actually produced. It wasn’t reliable and had a fair amount of drag as I remember. One showed up on ebay about a year ago.

No kidding? I imagine that even if you designed it with a deep rim, it wouldn’t be much better aerodynamics wise, but perhaps slightly better in crosswinds. Thanks for the info.
