+1 for Speedo Endurance. I wore out a set of regular Speedo jammers much quicker than I expected, but my original pair of Endurance+ jammers looks brand new.
I went cheap with the dolfins. If they don’t work out I will give the endurance a shot.
I appreciate your quick replies!
You shouldn’t go cheap, honestly. The small premium you pay for the pure polyester/PBT materials are well worth it. They’ll last 10x as long as your cheap jammers.
Speedo Endurance is great, but anything that says 100% polyester or poly/PBT is as good. Tend to cost only about $10-$20 more than a regular set of jammers, but the fabric almost never wears out (the drawstring breaks before the fabric wears out.)
After your cheap ones die, go with one of these, buy the best looking, coolest one you can get (because it’s going to be with you for years), and never look back.
I used to swim in Orca Jammers. Even tho Orca is Kiwi company, and I’m in New Zealand, I can’t find them anywhere. Even the people at their Auckland Outlet store can’t even tell me if they are still making them.
I LOVED them. Nothing else comes close. They don’t match your cheap requirements, but were great value by virtue of great performance and longevity. I’ve tried others and they are crap by comparison. Now I’m back to 'budgie smugglers"
Waterpro polyester jammers. I get them from swimoutlet.com for cheap and they seem to last as I haven’t killed a pair in three years. I wash them in the shower after every swim, a trick I picked up from ST.
What are you talking about? Finding something that’s cheap and fulfills the performance requirements is a valid question, took me 10 seconds to point out the best option.
Tyr DURAFAST square leg. Not necessarily cheap but tyr usually has 10 or 15% offs running every so often. I used one pair of these last year from May to October 3 times per week and they are still in acceptable shape to use.
