I possess a round noggin, and know which lids work best for me, but my bride possesses an ovoid noggin, and I’m not sure which direction to steer her, and was hoping the hive-mind would know the answer.

- specialized Prevail 2 (s-works with mips)
- Met Manta (an aero road helmet)
Giro used to work for me on mtb (like the Xen, though it was really abit too wide to get the right fore-aft length. but I couldn’t really get on with a few roadie kids of theirs for some reason - some pressure points on the top of my head.
Mountain bike ? Troy Lee A (a1 / a3 /a3) are good for me.not at all cheap, but a quality feel.
But helmets are defo one of those to try on 1st if you can in a real shop. If not, order plenty on a credit card online knowing you’ll send all but 1 back.
Definitely not anything from HJC.

Specialized specialized specialized. The prevail fits me like a glove, better than anything ever has. Kask is pretty good too. Lazer and bell sometimes.
