I just got a new pair of HED 3’s and noticed that the blades edges are not symmetrical front to back. One is a a sharp edge and the other is a little wider and not as sharp. My question? Which way does the wheel go on? With the sharp edge leading or the fatter edge?
(This question may be totally unintelligible)
Just make sure the valve opening is on the drive side.
From an aerodynamics perspective it makes more sense to have the blunt edge leading and the sharp edge trailing…also makes more sense from an oops I stuck my finger in there perspective.
Check the rear. The blunt edge leads as it goes over the top. (I hope)
The sharp side goes to the rear…If you look closely at your rear wheel you will see it, you can’t miss since the rear wheel only has one direction (cassette body).
