Hed Disk wobbling?

Hello, I have a question for bike mechanics

I have HED Jet RCD Plus Aero Disc on QR V-PR. Everything works fine, I don’t have any complains or notice anything strange.

But when I put the bike on a mobile stand and run the disk very fast, the whole bike on the stand starts wobbling up and down very noticeably. See short video https://www.youtube.com/shorts/8qaeTfDtgs8

The disk itself doesn’t really move relative to the frame, just the whole bike moves. Is it normal or needs to be checked?

When I do the same with a lighter training wheel, it almost doesn’t wobble.

Yes I’ve had the same thing happen (not a HED wheel), due to weight imbalance in the wheel. Never noticed it when riding. If it does bother you, add some weight to counter balance it, but I wouldn’t bother if it was me, nothing unusual.

If you have a long stem, that throws off the balance and it’s nothing to worry about. It’s not going to affect speed or anything. My wheels do the same thing.

I do have a long stem there. Thank you everyone for the answers, I can sleep soundly now

They make little tungsten weights for tennis rackets that you can put under your rim tape to balance the wheel and I am pretty sure you can find a YouTube video explaining the process. Wheel balancing falls in the marginal gains category, I have had wheel imbalances that were far enough off that I would get some minor vibrations on fast descents at about 50 mph. If you can feel it, I would assume there are some free watts/watt to be gained.

As mentioned, you can rebalance the wheel using 2-part epoxy putty. I had an H3 with this issue, and it led to high speed wobbles on descents.
