Just to let everybody know, Hed has had a lot of Hed 3’s on their website (hedcycling.com) for sale that did not meet their trueness specs. There are a few left at pretty good prices.
Quite a few have been sold already and I see a few ‘new’ Hed 3’s posted on Ebay. The serial numbers were included on the site originally but no longer. You might want to double check any wheels you buy in the near future. I’m sure the wheels are safe or Hed wouldn’t be selling them, and I’m sure they wouldn’t have a problem giving the serial numbers out to someone making sure they aren’t buying a factory second without being fully informed.
