Is this company still in business? I’m not really interested in buying a disc wheel but this company is supposedly near where I live yet I’ve never heard of it.
do a forum search, pretty nice wheels, I’ve ridden one of their Accel II disks for a while. I’d personally prefer most other brands over it but it is a neat concept.
Hello
Thinking about getting a Falcon II disk.
Why do you prefer other products?
Cheers,
Neal
I just had some problems with the cup and cone bearings loosening up quite often and the spacing had to be adjusted to allow my chain to drop into the 11t cog. The disk also seemed quite flexy laterally. Some of this might be due to the way that they set up the axle on the non-drive side, it has a lot of spacer on a relatively small axle and isn’t the most rigid thing in the world. A lot of people like them though. I’ve since changed to a Zipp and like it a LOT better.
Hello Tai,
Thanks for the info.
Cheers,
Neal
Hey Neal, just wanted to note that my opinion is only one of many so ask around a bit more. I have one friend who absolutely loves his Accel II disk. I just never found it much to my liking. Anyways, good luck, it’s pretty hard to go wrong with any disk you purchase…
fyi, their weights(at least they used to be)do not include the hub or axle and they do not come installed. this was 6 years ago.
