Has anyone tried "the stick" aka "the body stick?"

Looking for a way to work out some end of the day soreness and I have a coupon for half off. However, if its going to be $20 wasted, it isn’t worth it even with the coupon.

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, its this: http://www.trisports.com/stickbodystick.html

Works.

I have one at my desk at work.

Best investment for little money. Definitely worth it.

I have one. I like it. Works good.

Best massage doodad out there. I have the travel version.

Get one; thank us all later.

Yes! I like it because it is flexible however, one of those Tupperware plastic rolling pin that fill up with liquid are better because they can be frozen. http://www.etsy.com/...6l97ECFWXhQgodhkcA0A

Worth every penny! I have the version that is the “sprinter” stick. It’s small enough to fit in my carry on luggage. It travels to every race and on every business trip with me.

I like that frozen idea. I could use it today.

The Stick is the cruel mistress my wife allows me to have. She hurts so good and I feel so good after each session with it.

“Yes” to The Stick!

Here is a short instructional video from our team chiro:

I also strongly recommend a foam roller from Power Systems (or other mfg’rs). Again, another instructional vid from the team chiro:

I also use the Power Systems foam roller to roll out my ITB’s. Soooooo painful when you’re doing it, yet you’ll bounce back from hard workouts so much quicker!

Use them both and reap the rewards.

Another yes.

HaHa I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much emphatic agreement on ST. I’m ordering it now!

I have one and it does the job. The “tiger tail go-pro” does the job better though, and it feels more comfortable than the cold plastic on “the stick”.

.

Have not used my stick after getting a rumble roller. I would not buy one again now.

I have a slightly different version that I picked up at a Rock and Roll marathon expo. Love it. I never got the hang of lying on the floor to roll my IT band with a foam roller. The stick works great.

Use it all the time. Fantastic product. I love it on my hammies.

Worth every penny - I’ve had mine almost 8yrs now.

Works great, mine gets used by the whole family. It works out the kinks on tight calves.

I also have the tiger tail, it doesn’t rip out hair, and helped me work through some funky shin splints.
