Handbar: Great offer or Bad Fit?

I’m having a minor dilemma here.

I’m offered a 2nd hand Easton EC90 (carbon) handlebar in good condition (save for a missing sticker) for $50 :). Over is switching to a cooler handlebar (by amoebaparts)

However it’s sized 44, compared to the 42 I’m measured to use. So would you guys use a wider handlebar & save more than $100 for a sub 200g handlebar?

If you’re not going to take the bar, let me know, I will :~) Not sure what to advise, seems to me 2mm wider or narrower hasn’t ever made much of a difference, nor 200g for that matter.
