Hamstring cramps after brick?

I have recently made the move into duathlon from just cycling. I have been doing bricks and after every brick my hamstrings cramp immediatly upon stopping the run. Any ideas to remedy this or prevent it??

Why don’t you try to take the run a bit easier, or, ease up for the last k or so. See if that helps. You could also do the same for the end of your ride, just spin in a low gear/high cadence, flush those legs of any lactate.

Also: what is your “stop” like? Do you stop running, hop in yer car and drive for 35minutes? Do you walk around for 5min, maybe stretch a bit? How long and hard a run are we talking about here?
