Wtf?? Pre-meditated (drunk) assault on 3 cyclists and 2 race officials, including one crushed bike = one assailant with no charges and a measly $1000 fine…which probably doesn’t even cover the cost of the crushed bike. Taniguchi’s weak and almost apologetic public response is equally shameful. The comments on the story accurately capture some public opinion about cyclists…it’s “their” fault for riding on the road and probably deserve it. Wait…wtf?!? NOT ok. Grrrr…
