2:05:28, damn!
I heard he is doing Kona. If he can put 40 minutes in to the field on the run, I think he might win, assuming he learns to ride a bike and swim.

hrm. hope nobody has it recorded that reads here first…

Yea man, not nice to post results in the subject line. You may want to change it for the benefit of others who will watch it later.
Considering there’s no where to watch it or record it, I don’t think anyone really has to worry about that, but thank you spoiler police.

Then how were people on letsrun updating his progress? There are a few satellite channels with dubai sports, or so I’m told…there was also an internet feed (for people outside USA)

Are you suggesting that he might run a 2:05 marathon in an Ironman?
Even if he could, I’d expect him to lose 40 minutes on the leaders in the water alone.
No, I figured in light of the whole Lance/Ironman/Kona/Vistory/Course Record, chatter I would throw Haile’s name into the mix as a possible victor. In short I was joking.

Roger that.
Is that a recent race??
Because it’s not the WR…he ran 2h03.59 in Berlin 08.
Nevermind…Dubai Marathon.
Wait… Geb can swim???
He doesn’t need to swim. When you weigh what he weighs and runs that fast, you can run on water.
He would probably set some sort of record as to number of people passed on the marathon
.

Yeah, put that guy in a wetsuit, and he’ll be 10" over the water.

I was under the impression that skeletons sink.
Wow, 2:05 is smoking fast! It’s disgusting, actually.
“I was under the impression that skeletons sink.”
Most likely, yes. In regard to specific gravity, “…Mean density results were: (1) fresh compact bone, 1.85; (2) fresh
cancellous bone, 1.08; (3) embalmed compact bone, 1.85; and (4)
embalmed cancellous bone, 1.09.”

But a skeleton in a wetsuit?
