Hacking power files - Looking for .PWX docs

I’ve had it. Pretty much all power analysis software I’ve seen is awful. It all looks and behaves like its from the early 90’s. Poweragent, WKO, Golden Cheetah… So I’m thinking of building my own UI after being inspired by some of the work seen here on the 3D trainer video. These PWX files from my powertap look like basic XML.

I’m wondering if anyone knows if there is any documentation on the file format. I can probably just reverse engineer it, but it seems like there should be something out there.

I’m looking at a PWX file now.

It seems sort of self documenting.

It does, the fields are pretty straightforward.

One thing I don’t see is a collection of tags describing the units used, which I thought you could change in your device.

Ahhh, awesome. Nicely documented was well.
