I’ve been racing for quite a few years, 9 full IM’s and too many 70.3’s to count, my limiting factor in performance has always been hydration/nutrition issues. Seems as though when I throw in a swim before the bike/run I always end up bloated and dehydrated which kills my run.
I’ve tried so many different approaches to day before and morning of nutrition but have never really been able to get it right. I’m around an 11:00 IM and just under 5 hour 70.3 but I have much more physical potential as I’m a strong cyclist and a sub 3 hour marathoner. Any others out there with these issues and possible recommendations ?
