I don’t know, but buy one NOW because they are going to go up a trazillian percent in January

you may want to do a search, they’ve been posted here before.

Where are you, I might be able to help you.

I was curious too… The previous post mentioned.

Actually, the numbers I mentioned in the prior post are wrong for 2006 models. I was quoted prices for 2005 models.

For the bike I’m looking at, the Trilite, 2006 prices are going waaaay up: 2005 Trilite w/Dura Ace: $3800 retail 2006 Trilite w/Dura Ace: $4700 retail

They made minor changes to the frame (internal cables–maybe not a good thing, full aero seat post), but really the price increase is due to more expensive components. The 2006 Dura Ace models come with Mavic Ksyruim ES wheelsets and Easton carbon bullhorn/aerobars. The Mavics retail for over $1000 alone; sweet road bike wheels, but not great triathlon racing wheels. Easton bars retail in the upper $300’s. So the 06 line-up has component upgrades that really affect bottomline prices.

My lbs says it’s possible to order bikes without the expensive wheel package, or possible substitute the wheels with better general purpose training wheels to save some money, but I haven’t gotten any specific numbers of how much can be saved.

Right now I’m strongly considering picking up an 05 Trilite at my local shop for a great price. You need to speak to a dealer to get accurate numbers. Buying a Guru off the web seems silly and difficult. Maybe you can track down some 05 models if you don’t want to spend the extra cash on the 06’s.

Good luck.
