When looking at the pro men’s splits throughout the day, there was plenty of position changing, and a great, strategic/will-power/guts finish by Viktor Zymstev. There were plenty of great athletes in that field, too. Looks like it was a good race to watch.
One could say the same thing about today’s women’s pro race at the Buffalo Springs 70.3. BTW, KELLY HANDEL’S SWIM WAS ROCK-STAR STATUS, AS WERE THE SWISS-MISS BIKE RIDE AND CARFRAE’S 1:23.52 RUN. I’m willing to bet GreerFest was as well done as always.
Ironman Switzerland finish times were not exactly schleprock times, either. Quite fast, especially for men’s names and a few of the women’s names which most of us are not (yet?) familiar with. This is a great race to be a spectator at, too, btw!

Who do you don’t know in the Top-3 at IM Switzerland?
How can you not know Rebecca Preston in the girls race…she won last year and backed up for IM Austria. She also finished top 10 last year at Kona, so the girl can race! Go the Aussie chicks…1 and 3 and Switzerland and 3 in the top 5 at the 70.3…good day for Aussie boys and girls!! Macca and Jocobs at Roth (plus MacDonald) and also a tope result for Legh 1st place at 70.3…
