I have tried to raise this discussion of putting a tube in a tubeless tire and if there actually is any penalty. So far, seems like lots of difference of opinion but the only entities that have done any type of initial testing have deemed it no/negligible difference. BRR and Aero coach.
I don’t want to detail the thread but this is a very big gap of info that the industry needs to address. Whether it’s “to go tubeless or not” or “which gp5000 do I use with tubes”, it’s a relevant question and there’s no actual current info about it!
