Just rec’d the new TR51. The shoes have a couple of nice improvements over the TR02 and TR50. First, it is a tongue-less design. Rather, the upper is cut into two distinct pieces that overlap on another. Second, the strap is thinner (not in width), meaning it is lighter, more flexible, and slides back and forth more easily. Combine these two aspects, and it is very easy to insert your foot even after riding on top of the shoe (the shoe pretty much flops open as soon as you begin to insert your foot). It features the same/similar lining as previous versions and the same carbon sole. The downside is the increase in price–this shoe retails for $239 which is up from the $179 price tag of the TR50.
