You will want to check out Gear West, they are located in the west metro. There are others but these guys are among the most well stocked and knowledgable.
Gear West. Take 394 until it ends, continue on 12 (?) until you see it on the right. It’s in Long Lake in the West metro. It’s pretty much the shop in town. Kevin (the ownser) is a doll 
Oh, and if you’re in Anoka, might as well head over to Blaine and check out the Velodrome. 
For a running specific store, visit Run N Fun in St. Paul–it’s the biggest (and in my opinion the best).
Cool deal…I grew up in Anoka. As others have said, Gear West Bike would be the tri shop in town. While you are in that area I’d suggest you just go a couple blocks further into town from Gear West Bike and check out Gear West Run for running gear. Jan and the gang there know their stuff too!
It should be noted that Gear West is (2) different shops for run/XC ski and bike, both owned by Kona qualifers. 2 blocks away from each other.
