I hope my training partner Barry Dmitruk cleans up in his last race as a 44 year old. He passed on his 2005 Kona slot at LP in favour of doing Wisconsin and Florida to try and bag a 2006 Kona slot. I hope I can be like him when I am 44. The guy seems to get faster every year.
Oh yeah…best wishes to Ottawa Pro Dave Harju in defending his title. Dave was on fire doing the bike leg of the Canadian Half Iron Distance event, with a ride time of just under 2:09 for 90K. Good luck on trying to Threepeat.
