Good large Capacity downtube Aero Bottle

At Nice Anne Haug had a large aero bottle on the downtube that filled in the entire bottom of the triangle of her P5. What is the capacity of this bottle (I assume over 1L) and who makes them. Or can you suggest other after market options that are that large (or larger) that fills the bottom part of the triangle . Intuitively this makes aero sense filling in most of the gap from the back of the forks towards the rear chainstay and maybe filling the gap between calves and frame is a good thing

Speedfil has something like that

edit : that is a speedfil bottle : https://www.triathlete.com/gallery/2024-ironman-world-championship-nice-pro-bike-anne-haugs-2025-cervelo-p5/
the frame is drill to pass the tube

I see this:

What I would like is something like this without a tube…just standard water bottle nozzle with ~ 1L capacity. Does that exist?

The thing is Haug and her bike are tiny so that bottle fills a lot of space that it wouldn’t fill on say a L or XL sized bike.

Dev, I know you’re not the largest of individuals either but I’m not sure how well the eyeball aero testing scales as bike size increases.

I’ve tested the Speedfil on numerous people over the last decade + of aero testing.

I can not recall a time where it did anything but add drag and often minutes of drag over 90k. Now you have to weigh being hydrated/fueled up against the increase in drag.

Hope that helps

Thanks Brian. I am curious if you ever tested with a small enough rider that the bottle takes up the entire bottom of the triangle and is wide enough to fill some of the gap between the crank arm/foot/leg and frame such that the wind is forced from the front forks around the shins rather than pass though between the legs?

I’ve tested that on all sizes of riders, petite, not petite. Some riding 52’s some riding 60’s.

Can’t recall when it was better than not having it
