I am allergic to the active ingredient in the non-hypoallergenic sunscreens and will break out in a rash. I’ve found that using the kids/baby sunscreen works best for the rest of my exposed areas but doesn’t really stay on my face during active activities such as cycling or running because my sweat runs it off or it blocks my pores and I get heat rash.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a facial sunscreen that doesn’t block pores and is hypoallergenic??
I use cetaphil SPF 15 moisturizer daily. For longer periods when I’m training neutrogena makes a facial sunscreen that is really good. Both are hypoallgergenic and noncomedogenic.
I like Vanicreme or Cetaphil. Vanicreme might be harder to find - for some reason the local Target store keeps it behind the counter in the pharmacy section. I have super sensitive skin and the vanicreme product line has been the best for me. Cetahphil works just about as good.
