Perhaps surprisingly to many people, Trump is actually a pretty good golfer. He’s an old dude who has classic “old guy” golf swing habits but he generally misses straight. I dont think anyone has really ever claimed he was a bad golfer. By all accounts he was a decent athlete in high school, probably around similar atheltic abilities to all of us - decent D3 athlete/lower end bench of a D1 school.
The main thing about trump is he claims he could have played for the Yankees, gone pro in golf, etc. None of this is true. Everyone says that he cheats a lot of golf. In sports where things are pretty congested a couple of strokes makes a big deal.
I dont think trump has ever won a golf tournament not played at his own club - that says a lot.

All I am saying is that you only win when you are playing your home course, you are probably not as good as you say you are - especially when you own the course, and have say in where the pins are/course layout. 20 years if a very long time to only play at your home courses.
If trump could win at other clubs or could have gone pro (as he has said), he would have.

My only main point of everything was that no one is surprised that trump is a good golfer. As stated above, he was a decent athlete in High school.
However, trump is like uncle rico - who says he was recruited by the yankees, could have been a pro golfer, and blows bolts of lightning from is arse.
At trump’s prime, I was much closer to being as good a golfer as trump - than trump was to being a pro golfer. And I suck at golf.
