So my magnet came off when I dropped a chain. That’s been fixed but now wondering what glue should I used for the pM magnet. I don’t have the packet of glue that game w it.
Thanks
Hot glue has worked well for me.
I had the special putty from Quarq and I had to remove the magnet for crank repair. When I installed the mangnet again, I put regular hot glue and it has worked like a champ since then!
Never came off.

Not sure what your getup is exactly, but can you put the magnet on the NDS crank arm and just have it attach to the steel spindle of your pedal? Easy peasy and no glue at all.
In my experience on shitty roads it can bounce off. It’s not a really strong magnet. I use the putty from Quarq and have had good luck with that.
Here is my pro tip for the Quarq magnet: If using the metal “around the BB” adapter then you should superglue a magnet to both sides. Clean all the surfaces well with alcohol and apply glue to the adaptor. Apply the magnets and boom = Glue + magnet power holding that bad boy on.
I lost 3x magnets using the epoxy or gluing a single magnet to the adapter.
I had some medium strength PVC glue in the garage from a project. Seems to be holding.
So you are suggesting to glue the spare magnet to the other side of the ring bracket? So there is a magnet on both sides?
Used the Quarq putty on my tt bike. The magnet is still there after 3 years. I see the one that goes under the cable guide on my road bike.
Magic Goop.
+1 on the magnet. I use a 1/2" x 3/8" stuck to the end of the pedal spindle.
I’ve got these on three bikes - they work great and don’t fall off.
BTW: The magnet costs about $3, and has over 16lb of pull. It’s a model D86-N52, neodymium disc magnet from K&J Magnetics, Inc.

I’ve used JB Weld with good results. The Quarq putty looks similar to plumbers epoxy…
PVC glue was crap
Just put in some gel super glue.
Sanded the bracket and wiped it down well.
Also put a magnet on the opposite side w glue as well. Let’s see how this holds up

Yeah PVC glue is not going to work well here, it works by melting the PVC which it can’t do on a magnet or crank.
Super glue gel worked well on a strip magnet I used on a bladed spokes.
Also like someone showed above a magnet that fits in the pedal threads works well. I got one off best for about 6 bucks shipped. It sticks to the pedal so well that I can swap pedals and it comes with the pedal.
I used this to glue the magnet to a carbon frame: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Loctite-0-85-fl-oz-Plastic-Epoxy-1360788/100371824#
