Not really. It is a NSAID but since it’s externally applied it avoids a lot of the problems of oral ones, like ibuprofen. I was diagnosed with bone on bone arthritis last year and thought running was out. Doctor said go ahead and run to your pain tolerance level. Cutting my mileage back, cushioned shoes, and Diclofenac does the trick, very little pain. I don’t use it all the time, sometimes using other over the counter arthritis cream, but it’s the go to when needed. I don’t take ibuprofen, Tylenol, or anything else.
