Giro's live feed audio

i’ve got the feed going on my hated windows box. but no audio coming thru. just video. any tips? did i forget to put gas on the tank? something simple like that?

speakers plugged in?

volume turned up?

Eurosport or OLN? Although better than nothing, Eurosport tends to be difficult to follow as commentators (Sean Kelly, David Duffield (?), and company) have a tendency to occasionally drift off into 2-3 minutes of completely unrelated discourse which usually overlooks the current state of the Giro stage on which they are commentating. If you are troubleshooting the OLN live stream, I am sure someone will correct me if this is incorrect but I thought someone had mentioned that the stream was simply raw feed from RAI and lacked any english audio commentary!

“speakers plugged in? volume turned up?”

yeah, all that’s done.

not sure the set up you got, but the windows media player has its own volume control as well (separate from computer software vol. adjustment). it is a small slider bar at the bottom of the player.

Actually, you’re not missing anything. This is just a video feed. The OLN crew (Phil et al) isn’t commenting. The audio is limited to the thump-thump of the helicopter or the whirring of the motorcycle, depending on the video shot. There is, occassionally, a musical interlude, though.

You have no volume? Man you are missing out! Turn your ceiling fan on high when there is an overhead shot. Rev your truck up when there is a motorcycle shot. That should just about simulate the OLN audio feed (if that is the feed you are watching).
