Gifts for the Triathlete who has everything?

Ok lets get a good Christmas list going here…I know there are lots of us asked year after year what we want for Christmas and instead of saying “I don’t know” and getting an ugly sweater, we can come together to put some good ideas on the list.

Obviously I started this thread so I am running out of good ideas so lets start thinking. To make it more fun, lets put in price brackets

$25 or under: Gu, Accelerade, Endurox, etc…anything consumable

$50 or under: Cycling Gloves

$100 or under: New tires

$200 or under: New helmet

$500 or under: Carbon Base bar

$1000 or under: All expenses paid to the race of your choice

Sugermamma $$$$$$: Specialized Transition S-works

Personal take, things that I want / could use but I don’t often get around to buying or things that wear out.

$25 or under: Quality socks

$50 or under: Trainer mat

$100 or under: ErgVideo / Real Course Video

$200 or under: Bike Repair Stand!

$500 or under: Adamo or V-Flow Max Saddle

$1000 or under: Dunno, contribution towards race wheels

Sugermamma $$$$$$: CompuTrainer* or race wheels

$60,000: InsideRide Supertrainer

At $10-12 a bottle Rogue Abyss would be nice. You would win my respect with that one.

Seriously, if they have “everything” consider making a donation to their favorite charity. I have done this a couple of times for friends/family members who honestly say they don’t need/want any more “stuff” in their lives, and it has always been well received.

LOL

add to the list: coaching
.

If you’re talkin about the beer… Deschutes brews the Abyss.

instead of meaningless christmas gifts for coworkers (who needs another coffee mug full of candies?), tanker and i go and buy a bunch of inexpensive toys and drop them in the santas anonymous donations bin, then give cards to colleagues that state a toy has been donated on their behalf. - they get a warm fuzzy feeling that they did some good in the world (without lifting a finger), and some less fortunate kids have a gift under the tree. everyone wins.

cheers!
