Giant Trinity adv pro Size Small will it fit?

Hi Guys/Gals,

Was looking some help on figuring out will a giant trinity TT size Small fit me I’m 5ft 11”/180cm
Inside leg of 31.5 inches. Going by the sizing chart I’m borderline but I’ve got a great deal on a size small frame 2019 version and would love to pick it up if it’ll fit any responses is greatly appreciated from bike fitters or people with experience with the bike.

I’m 178 and was looking at the same.

I talked to a fitter and he said May as well buy a parachute. Apparently the front end is notoriously hard to fit well and get low enough. Most of not all sponsored riders get new aftermarket front ends built up.

Suffice to say I’m going to get a fit done and then look to get a bike I know will work.

I’m 5’10" and weigh 155lbs and own a size Small Trinity Advanced Pro. I find it’s almost a bit too small for me, almost. I think it works and I have had great performances on the bike thus far. However, if I was any taller or bigger I think it would be uncomfortably small. My guess is that a size Small probably won’t be optimal for you.

That’s helpful; thanks. That would suggest that for me at 173 a mall would probably be the right fit. Also looking at Giants size guide, which give pad X & Y limits - I’d also be smack bang in the middle of both with my X/Y with adjustment either way. At the moment I’m on a small Dolan Scala and in hindsight, should have probably bought a medium as the handling is pretty twitchy; especially when on the aerobats which isn’t ideal!

I’m 5’10" and ride a 2017 Advanced Pro in size medium. It’s almost too big for me and in hindsight, I might have preferred to go small. That being said, I’ve raced very well on the bike. Front end is pretty limited in adjustments as someone else mentioned. It’s hard to beat the aerodynamics for the price though. My gf was considering a shiv but just couldn’t warrant spending $2-$3k more for a bike that wasn’t any faster.

I had a 2016 Giant Trinity Advanced Pro 2 size small. I bought it because it was a great deal $2,200 at the time. I went through a few seasons with it and could never make it work.

Height: 177cms
Inseam: 79cms
Weight: 151 to 167lbs

I sold the bike off and am now riding a medium Premier Tactical. I won my first race on the new bike that fit me and went on to qualify for Ironman 70.3 worlds the following weekend.

Long story short, I doubt this bike will work for you. I wish the bike would have worked for me in size small…the bikes look great and the integration is really slick. There is severe lack of adjustability in the front end.
