Can anyone direct me to a comprehensive listing of Glycaemic Index for whole foods? I googled it and got back some basic ones with processed foodstuffs that are common to the US but not here. Since I believe in the abitily of ST’ers, can you find me a site with the weights and measures in imperial or metric measures rather than cups and US FL ounces.
I put on about 15 lbs since you met me. Didn’t race this year because of my $$job situation, looks like that is now resolved. I am eyeing IM japan again.

Thanks, Peaceful Tribe.
if you look up stuff on the south beach diet, you may find some useful info… it’s all based on the GI.
Hey Jim, glad to hear the job situation has worked out to your satisfaction, did you have to move location? I understand where you are with your weight gain, I’m there too and finding it hard to find the determination to ease up on the food at a sensible rate to be able to fuel my training and drop the fat at the same time. Still, we have our health.
Thanks for the link I will check that out as soon as I have finished my chores in readiness for tomorrow’s first testing day of the season to get our base data to work our training schedules for IM south Africa. Good luck with the training for IM Japan, I really hope it exists since one never meets anyone that has done it
Thanks Fuzzy, that looks pretty comprehensive although I am concerned that Plums appear under low GI with an index of 34 and under Medium GI with the index of 55 also! Interesting!
