So i am looking at the photos on Velo News about Gerolsteiner’s TT bikes with the E-Dura Ace tt set up, and this isn’t the first time i have noticed, but their bikes don’t look like the transitions. Anyone know what frame they are using that they put Specialized logos on?

I’ve noticed in other TT frame threads that some folks seem to hold the Transition in high regard, mentioning it in the same breath as Felt DA, P3C, and TTX. Perhaps I’ve missed it, but does anyone have any data indicating the Transition is anywhere near those frames aerodynamically?

Stage winner Schumacher rode the same bike model, but without Electronic shifting. Sebastian Lang was the only one to ride with Shimano electronic shifting prototype on his tt-bike.

Menchov was on a Giant TT-bike made for Colnago: (Team Columbia was on a newer Giant model this year, which looks a lot like Cervélo P3C).
Such data does not exist. Same for the ‘aero’ wheels they make.
I don’t believe the numbers exist, but I do believe Cervelo released some information on why their bikes are more aerodynamic than other bikes by pointing out specific features. I think the competitor bike that was shown was a Transition - wasn’t it? Does someone have that diagram? I’m not finding it on their website

Did you ever hear somebody disparage his own product?
the point was not necessarily to disparage another bike, but to show aerodynamically where their’s excel. The inference can be made about the other bike…
…but no…why would someone disparage their own product? That is why you never hear people do it - as their is no upside to doing it. It won’t help you sell more bikes, cars, boats, stereos, or any other product you are trying to sell. Of course, the cream of the crop in sales don’t verbally disparage their competition either - it is what we call “sales 101” (most sales people learn this VERY early on).
