I bought a Hilo frame on Ebay, building it up to a complete bike. Everything is going fine except for one part that I am not sure of…

The neck has a couple Cane Creek cups that looked like they were pressed in… see picture below. What type of headset do i need to make this all fit correctly? I bought a Cane Creek S-6 but it does not seem right, the fork wobbles a bit in the neck and the part of the fork that meets the bottom pressed in cane creek cup does not seem to sit correctly? Do I need to force these cups out or can I buy something that will meet up correctly with the upper and lower pieces?

Those are just standard pressed-in headset cups. Any shop worth its salt will be able to take those out and press in the new one. They’re not unversal in any way – your Cane headset is going to have different cups. If you’re not comfortable doing this yourself (which it sounds like you might not be) take it to the local shop to have the new headset installed. It takes some special tooling to get the cups pressed in correctly.
