I’m not a big TV person,especially since I’m in full training mode and am hitting the sack real early these days .
But got a chance to watch the San Marino GP Formula One race on TV this afternoon- man was that AWESOME!
Spain’s Fernando Alonso won his 3rd straight F1 victory against Schumacher.
He’s like a re-birth of the great Juan Manuel Fangio,who I think was the last great Spanish F1 race car driver from the 50’s.
There’s nothing like Formula 1.
I got a chance to see a race at Silverstone in England,and one of the last one’s in the USA, the Phoenix GP .
Hearing the 16,000 rpm shriek of an F1 car at full speed is incomparable!
Carbon Fiber , Titanium and Magnesium in poetic motion.
Our Tri bikes have really benfited from that technology.
And as if that wasn’t enough!
They aired during The Contender a Gatorade IM Kona commercial with Chris Legh.
Very Cool!..and got me really pumped for my big volume day tomorrow.
Its really great to see just how BIG Triathlon and Ironman have become.
Just the other day …I was shooting the shit with the boys at my LBS, they were telling me how amazed they are in the increase of people wanting to get involved with triathlon.
They sold a his and hers QR Tequilo to a couple right off the street.
The owner said that for the first time ever, they will be stocking TRI bikes .
This is a mom & pop LBS folks!
