Hi folks,
I had to do a hard reset of my 935 last week. Happily, it seems all my data remained intact, however for some reason, rides that I do outdoors (using a 530) have stopped appearing in my watch. Normally they appear after I synch.
Not a massive issue, of course, but apparently I am de-training
Anyone had this happen & if so, how did you fix it?
I’m a bit disappointed by the garmin eco system and the whole ‘tune up’ thing - I’ve only recently realised that workouts on the edge series don’t factor into your weekly intensity minutes which I find odd!

It seems like everything (watch, mobile app, web app) are all synced with my ride, run, and swim activities. For example, the last 7 days glance on my watch has every ride from two different Edge devices.

Its here, I had assumed like you, they all worked in harmony to give you a complete picture of your activities, work loads etc etc

https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=pNU9nnDzzGAHmEavp9rpY8Thanks - I had never noticed it before, since I do not drill into that metric much. I pulled mine up, and it only had 0 minutes for my Edge 530 workouts. However, it did have minutes for my Edge 1040 ride. So, maybe it is rolling out to more Edge devices.

harmony would be overstating it… with physio true up they sort of sync everything across your devices but only within what each device supports. intensity minutes comes into the watch activity tracker sphere so edge units don’t do it, hence even though its obviously easily derived from the activity and you have a device that tracks intensity minutes, you don’t get them. similar happens wiht many other metrics that are not supported by older devices or not tracked by them for various reasons. to my mind its one of the big things garmin need to sort out - delivering an ecosystem rather than devices
