Garmin GSC10 Speed/Cadence Sensor battery cover needed

The battery cover (and, of course, battery within) on my wife’s Garmin speed/cadence sensor disappeared somehow in the last month or so, likely never to be seen again. Hoping that someone has a spare one of these 4-cents-to-produce pieces of plastic so we don’t have to spend 40 bucks to replace the whole thing. Anyone have one around they’re willing to part with?

Someone on another forum posted a very similar “WTB” thread, and was advised to contact Garmin…they ended up sending him a cover for free.

If that doesn’t work, I have a spare. But now I think I should hang on to it…lol.

Thanks for the tip! I called them today and they are, in fact, going to be sending me just the battery cover for free.

Thanks for the tip folks. Just called Garmin today (800.800.1020 in US). They were super helpful and sent one out free of charge.

Unfortunately I find myself in the same situation as kylemce and need a replacement battery cover for my GSC10. I called Garmin today and they no longer have replacement battery covers available. The sensor still works great so I’d rather not spend the money to replace the whole unit if possible. Anyone have a spare battery cover they are willing to part with?

Unfortunately the cover that dangle sent me got lost in transit, so I am still on the hunt. Lightning struck once, hoping it will strike twice! Anyone have a spare battery cover they are willing to part with?

Truly sorry, I should have used a more robust envelope. I’ll save this thread for when my last GSC10 inevitably dies.

Hmm, I have one from a unit that flew into my spokes and broke…maybe I can find it if I dig.

Lol, just noticed that I replied to the original post way back in 2014. Still have the same cover and it doesn’t look like I will need it. Found it in the second place I looked.
