So Garmin finally introduced the quarter turn quick release mount for the fenix 6 series. It comes with all three size mounts and I am using the 6x and have the 6s and 6 as extra. Anyone here that bought the mount and wants to trade the extra pieces (I can send the mount for 6 or 6S in exchange for the 6x) send me a message.

I have my fenix 6 mounted around my BTA bottle during training, with an extension to the strap of the watch.
Works, but there is always the 90° awkward position.
Since the quick release bike mount seems to let the watch be rotated a quarter, I ordered one.
I’ll put it on an extension after which I should have the possibility to look on it between the BTA bottle and my arm.
Garmin also sells a tri bar mount like this one
It is a pity but I touch the watch with my arm: even on the bottons. I did not think the watch would sit so high on the extension.
All right, I send the mount back and use my old system of strapping the watch aroond the bottle.
