Hello All:
Garmin head units identify the connected power meter with a manufacturer number. I am often in an environment with lots of power meters and would like to have access to a list of those numbers to know what manufacturer they refer to. There must be a database somewhere but my searches have not found it. Anyone know where I can find that database? Calling Garmin never really helps so I haven’t tried on this question.

the FIT SDK has information about the Manufacturers data fields/channels you are interested in, specifically in the FIT profile Excel sheet. I am not sure you’ll be able to get the info you’re looking for just by looking at the 5 digit device ID, but I am an amateur in this world, so perhaps someone else can correct me if that is not true.
Thanks Mpquip. Yes, I can see that the info is in the fit file when I view it in GoldenCheetah. But I would just like a list of the manufacturer numbers for quick and easy reference. For example I’m working with a pair of Assioma pedals right now and my Edge head unit shows the manufacturer number as 263. That’s a different number than the ID.
