I hear on this forum the Garmin customer service was good…
Well, just after telling someone how awesome my 310xt watch was… it stopped recieving satellite signal. First, I contacted Garmin Support through the website. I got a reply the next day with what steps to try and fix the issue. It did not work. I called the number on the email and they provided me with an RMA for a return. The representative looked up my account through my Garmin Connect user information and said that was all he needed… he said I could hang up if I wanted and he would jsut send me an email. I was driving in my car, so that was pretty cool that I did not have to hang on. The next day I shipped my watch priority mail, that takes 2-3 days. Shipping time to get me a new watch was 2 day shipping.
Subtracting the shipping time, they had my watch for only 1 day. I had a new watch at my door 6 days after I sent my watch to them.
Pretty darn impressive. I opened the package today wondering what the heck I ordered that I must have forgotten about… and I could not believe it was the watch! I thought it would take at least another week.
It is nice to see companies that support their customers. I always say- it isn’t about a problem happening, it is how it is solved.
Nice job Garmin!
