I linked Strava to my Connect account so that I wouldn’t need to double my uploads. Everything was fine until last Wednesday. I’ve done 3 workouts since then and not one of them has synced. (a strength/aerobic circuit, swim & run) Anyone else having a problem?
According to their Twitter account, gain seems to be in general, broken.
Garmin’s or Strava’s twitter?

working fine for me.
I’ve had to retry all of my uploads today and then they’re not syncing to 3rd parties.
yes I think its the Garmin site. I am manually uploading since last week. Probably get fixed this week.
Mine’s not syncing today. On the Garmin forum, there’s a lot of speculation from frustrated users that the change from daylight saving time has something to do with it. No one from Garmin is replying to the users.
No-one from Garmin ever replies…
Mine stopped this weekend, but it is syncing to Training Peaks fine, suggesting it might be a Strava problem…
Nope. My 510 won’t sync with Connect. “Sync Failed” and “Internal Server Error”. Downloading straight from 510 to Strava works fine. Garmin must employ the worst software guys they can find.

and then send them over to TrainingPeaks to help.
I’m having the same issue. Also started this week.
I had a similar issue trying to upload data from my Fenix via iOS Connect but was able to upload using Garmin Express which auto synced to TP. Something weird going on there for sure. I’m betting it is a DST bug but you’d think those would be solved by now
I uploaded to Garmin yesterday and it only fed to Trainingpeaks. Not Strava. Today it worked to both Trainingpeaks and Strava.
Agree. Strange things with uploading to GC from my 910 this weekend. Issues started yesterday after a 30 mile ride. When I went to upload the watch froze at “Transferring Data”. I had to wait for it to run out of battery before plugging it in before bed last night. It fired up this morning just fine. However the summary page from my ride read fine but all of the laps showed zeros across the board. Today, I did a 14 mile trail run. Nothing is uploading and it appeared to delete yesterday’s and today’s activity but then I scrolled through the history and saw today’s activity at the end. I can’t find the ride. Right now Garmin Express says it’s synching and will take three hours. Seems odd.

same issues. 510 and 910 work fine with Strava, 510 won’t work at all with Garmin Connect either Modern or Classic. Garmin, great products, awful software.
I had the exact thing happen today with my 910xt. I still have not resolved the issue.

Not hijacking the thread, but I would make the exact same comment about Suunto. I like my Ambit watch, but Movescount is poor, and many (not all) sessions don’t link with Strava. It makes you wonder which end of the link has a problem, Garmin, Suunto, etc. or Strava (or both ends).
I lost my half marathon race info after it downloaded from my 405 and deleted but the info didn’t go anywhere.
oh, well, wasn’t a race worth reliving anyway.
Still not working for me with a 910xt
