Any recommendations for a glass screen protector for the 945 on amazon? Not too many reviews on the ones available on their website.
It is kind of an un-answer, but my recommendation is “none.” In my lifetime of wearing watches, I think I only ever scratched a screen once. All of my watches now look great, and I do not do anything special to be careful with them. I have never damaged an Apple Watch screen in 4 years of everyday wear, and if any screen is exposed, that one is. My Garmin 305XT, 910XT, 735XT were all retired with screens in great shape.
I’d rather be safe than sorry. I wear my 935 daily and have one on it. Didn’t have one on my Vivoactive and got a nick on the screen right in the middle.
I got a set of 2 from amazon. I don’t recall the seller but it was super easy to apply and has been great on the watch…never even notice it’s there.
I bought this package and it has 2 watch face screens - very easy to put on - and like you I want a tad more protection for my every day watch

I use sticky tape which has worked well for 8 months+ races, pool swims etc
I’ve had the same experience. Watch faces in great shape and I wear them every day.
920 for four years and 935 for eighteen months
I never use on or have I needed it. However, I got this for my son

… he likes to wrestle with our 8 month old Doberman. I can testify that the screen protector looks nice, was easy to apply and took several deep scratches that successfully protected the watch.
I’ve used these for several devices shipped to the US, and they have been awesome:
This worked so well for my Garmin 935, I ordered it again when I needed a third protector:

Are the screens on the 935 and 945 the same? Will this screen protector fit the 945?
Sorry I have no idea.
afaik the 945 screen is slightly smaller so 935 protector won’t fit
I’m using the dedicated 945 Brotect screenprotector which comes in a 3 pack from Amazon
.
I just bought this one and immediately put it on my 945 straight out of the box:

Fits great, no complaints.

Yes that’s the one I ended up getting.
Can confirm that a 935 screen protector won’t work on a 945 screen. I attempted to use an extra 935 protector on my new 945 a few days ago and it didn’t work. I ordered a 945 specific protector afterwards and it works great.
I bought a Zshion 945 screen protector on Amazon and it fits great.

My experience is that the screen on the 735xt is pretty fragile. I have’t ever scratched it, but I bumped it against a granite counter top and cracked the screen. Probably would have just lived with it if it was a normal watch, but since I swim with it, I had to replace it.
Since then I’ve always had a screen protector on it. You pretty much can’t tell it’s on there. I’ve broken several protectors over the years, but haven’t ever damaged the watch after that first time.
Not a glass screen protector, but I’ve used this brand for both my previous 920 and 530, and it worked well. Assuming it’ll hold up for my 945 as well.
