I just got an email from Garmin indicating that there is a software update available for the 910XT. Does anybody know what issues this update is reported to address? I can’t find a change log on their website.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the update? I can’t get the update link page to display properly, and now I can’t even login on garminconnect - wondering if the site is overloaded from users updating? I have all the garmin sites in my trusted sites list…

The update keeps failing on me, it gets to about 1% then dies and I for the life of me, can not figure out how to switch bikes. Following Garmin’s instructions does not work.
Anyone know how?
And any ideas how to force it to update? Or where does the garmin site download the firmware to, so I can delete it and try again.

I applied the update last night. It went off without a hitch. I ran this morning and it worked fine, but I did not check the instant pace. I will bike tomorrow and hopefully this will have resolved a speed sensor issue which I had noticed.
As for changing bikes, my recollection is that you pull up the menu and choose settings. IIRC, the top menu item is bike settings. Don’t choose that. Rather, scroll down and there should be a named bike (it might say default or something like that). It is not on the first page, you have to scroll down (or up) to it. When you select the actual bike name, it brings up the screen that allows you to customize that bike and choose between five (5) different bike setups.
